Edition 04. Our focus in Spain, new episodes of The Global Podscape, and the C-suite audience hiding in plain sight.

This month, we're doubling down on Spain. Five new shows join the network out of the market, spanning football, true crime, personal growth, and long-form conversation, reflecting how much depth is available there beyond the handful of breakout names most advertisers already know.

Our new episodes of The Global Podscape range further afield, from Italy to the future of European podcasting, with stops in Latin America and a look at what podcasting can do at global scale. And in Section III, we're sharing something we've been testing quietly for a while: why the most valuable listener for a lot of B2B and enterprise brands isn't found in the market they're targeting, but in the English-language shows that market's executives already listen to.

III. From the Desk of Genuina

The International C-Suite Audience Most Advertisers Skip

Executives outside the US and UK are more likely to be bilingual than the average person in their market, and fluent English tends to concentrate among exactly the wealthier, more senior audience that B2B and enterprise sellers are chasing. Podcasts add a second layer on top of that: listeners already skew higher income than the general population, which means the same channel reaching this audience in English is also reaching the people with the budget to act.

We tested this with a Mexican B2B SaaS company selling six-figure enterprise deals, the kind of sale where LinkedIn and Meta struggle to produce a qualified conversation at any price. Running ads geo-targeted into Mexico and Colombia on shows like The Daily and Hard Fork, we generated two qualified leads at a fraction of the company's usual cost per lead, on inventory that's served to this audience every day whether anyone buys it or not.
